DogYardShare

Community based dog daycare...at non-profit prices

Share daytime yard hosting and daycare with your neighbors. Earn credits by hosting — spend them on daycare.

How it works

1

Join your neighborhood

Add your dog and your yard, sign the waiver, and an admin approves you. Every member has a hostable yard.

2

Host to earn

Open yard hours when you're home. Hosting a neighbor's dog earns 1 credit per dog, per half-day.

3

Spend on daycare

Find a nearby yard on the map and book a morning or afternoon block for your dog.

Dog intros help dogs and owners click before the first stay — and no money ever changes hands, credits only.

Why we exist

Some dogs lose their friends — the jumpers, the barkers, the ones who play too rough. Getting them back to play takes training their owners can't always afford. That's our mission: as DogYardShare grows, surplus membership revenue will fund free training so every dog can have friends again. We're not there yet — every membership gets us closer.

What it costs

$25/month.

That's the only recurring cost. Hosting earns credits, credits pay for your dog's visits, and no money ever changes hands between members.

Plus a one-time background check — $39 (about $43 with Colorado's processing fee), paid directly to the screening service when you join.

Everyone pays it. You're not paying to be checked — you're paying so you can trust that every member, every host, and every yard your dog visits was checked too. And it's verified at the county courthouse, not just a database lookup.
